Why Watercolor?
Truth be told, I never thought the materials you use to create art were all that important, but they have become a significant part of my narrative. Watercolors, in particular, have a special place in my heart—not just for their ethereal beauty, but for the unique balance of control and chaos they bring to my work. There’s an element of luck involved in every stroke; the way the water interacts with the pigment can be unpredictable and challenging. Yet, this unpredictability is where the magic happens. Over time, I’ve learned to embrace the chaos, letting it guide my hand and transform my vision. Luck plays a crucial role here, often leading me to create something entirely unexpected, something beyond my original intent. The interplay of chance and technique allows me to produce work that surprises even me.
